Autonomous Robot Design

Our engineering design team part of the Mechatronics Design course at the University of Guelph designed, programmed, and built an autonomous robotic design to maneuver a setup environment.

The use of a Teensy microcontroller, four DC motors, motor drivers, three ultrasonic rangefinder sensors, and other small components was built on a prototype circuit board to drive four omni-directional wheels connected to an aluminum brazed chassis.
